alice through the looking glass
musings of the museTo all those people out there recently out of relationships:
We’ve all done it, rebounded on this perfectly nice, fun person, who we know isn’t going to stay in our lives. Then when we have put ourselves together with their help, a lot of us move on to have perfectly successful happy lives, with someone else. I have talked to several close friends in the last week or two, who have found themselves being the rebound guy or girl, repeatedly. So, next time you are coming out of a relationship, consider taking some time away from dating all together and taking time to yourself. Put yourself back together by yourself and a with the help of your friends. Not that a little romance hurts anything as far as the putting yourself back together part. But, how woul you feel if you found yourself helping put someone back together, fell in love with them while doing so and then they left you to go on and have a full and life long relationship with someone else. Now imagine doing that over and over. Please, consider the other person when you are on the rebound. Please. I love my friends and I hate, hate, HATE to se what this behavior does to them. Noone should ever EVER feel like they are just the rebound person. Especially not the wonderful, amazing people who have been expressing such feelings to me lately.

One is always on a strange road, watching strange scenery and listeningto strange music. Then one day, you will find that the things you tryhard to forget are already gone.
